Voith Siemens Hydro's new and global Integrated Management System

Heidenheim, Germany: Voith Siemens Hydro as the
first group division in Voith AG has implemented a global
Integrated Management System that has been independently certified
recently. The comprehensive and holistic quality management system
integrates the respective areas of occupational health and safety,
as well as environmental protection and, of course, the general
quality management.
The global
certification is based on well-known international standards for
quality assurance (ISO 9001), environmental protection (ISO 14001)
as well as occupational health and safety (OHSAS 18001). All Voith
Siemens Hydro locations are in complete compliance with these
three standards, handle all processes in an identical way and are
formally certified under one unique certification.

reaching this extremely demanding target within a record schedule,

All Voith
Siemens Hydro's units had already been certified globally in
the past. The major task of the now completed process done in all
units worldwide was in the integration of environmental protection
and occupational health in the existing management system.
