Lionel Maciver,  a recently graduated student based at Wavegen in Inverness has been awarded the top prize from BAE Systems  for his work entitled "Most Relevant Industrial Placement".

 

His project centred on developing a SCADA system and client interface for the recently announced Mutriku OWC breakwater project.

 

The SCADA system is currently being used to control and monitor Wavegen's small turbine which is being tested at the LIMPET Wave Power site on Islay.
