Voith is one of the regulars whenever future energy generation systems are being discussed – including the G8-Summit last week.

 At the press office in Kuehlungsborn near Heiligendamm, Dr. Thomas Heath, Engineering Manager of the Scottish Voith subsidiary Wavegen, informed the journalists about the potential of wave energy – approximately 15 percent of the worldwide demand for electricity can be generated from wave power.

The presentation was part of the lecture series "The Power of Ideas", organized by "Germany – Land of Ideas" an initiative of the Federal Government and the German industry.
